David Strorm.
(Real name Simon Akers.)
Born in Reading, England in 1965 to local parents I am the
oldest of three. My gene pool is peppered with Canadian (French and Indian),
Irish, Italian and Brit giving me the Happily Mongrel look of a Colombian Drugs
Baron and at 47 I am now treading the path of Pre-Enlightenment......
Growing up as a punk, Oi boy, Soul head, Reggae fan,
Musician, DJ, the list goes on. I was heavily influenced by the wealth and
diversity of life in the dying embers of the 20th century.
I am now settled down, 21 years married, with two kids and
finally beginning to slightly understand myself and my place in the cosmos.
I've reached that age where I am allowed to like things that are not cool and
quite frankly I am beginning to revel in their comforting glow.
As all of us are, I am slowly travelling "towards the
light" and it is only now that any of it is making sense. It has taken me
over twenty years to start writing but now that I have, I’m going to keep
writing until it becomes my career!
