Amanda Pascal
is a twenty seven year old FBI agent. She is recovering from the loss of her
partner and after nearly losing her own life, has been left haunted by the
event and confined to a desk job in Houston Texas.
One evening she
experiences a strange supernatural event and strange whisperings which leaves
her with an inexplicable and compelling urge to investigate the suicide of a
young man in Sigourney, Iowa.
From here Amanda
is thrust forth on a roller coaster ride of danger and intrigue.
Her journey is
guided by compelling dreams and more voices in her head, along with an
unexplainable affinity she has with a strange set of characters she meets along
the way. All of them are men and all of them have no knowledge of their past
lives, just an overriding urgency, given to them by their own dreams, to find
Miss Pascal.
Amanda soon
finds out that these men are being hunted by an evil mercenary and his team.
They have been employed by Mega-rich Business man, Simon Scott Parker, to bring
these unknowing fugitives to him as he believes that they are the key to a life
changing discovery that has been made, within one of his many mines.
As Amanda edges
nearer the truth she realizes that she and her odd bunch of misfits are part of
a secret. A secret that has not yet revealed itself, even to them. Each of
these individuals is a piece to a complex puzzle and they are in turn
inextricable linked to her in some unknown way.
Amanda
and her companions are drawn from place to place across the world keeping just
one step ahead of the darkness until finally… Its deadly end game is played out
with mind-shattering consequences, four kilometers below the surface of the
earth…
